Our menu is based on areas that we cherish. The aromas that emanate from the kitchen of our grandmother at Segamat, Malaysia, or from our early years in Singapore, or from moments we were far from home and embraced different cuisines and cultures. Our early years were spent watching our grandmother, and later, our mother cook traditional Hakka and Nonya dishes that wrap around a huge number of rice dumplings, one at a time steaming nonya kuehs over long periods of time, and then stirring our beloved kaya with a spoon.
