Here are some of the top customer favorites that are on our menu

Mama Mandola’s Sicilian Chicken Soup

The inspiration for the soup was Damian Mandola’s mother Grace This authentic Italian soup has become a fan favorite. A touch of spice adds a unique flavor to this soup. It could be your new go-to comfort food.

Pollo Rosa Maria

If you’re looking for an authentic chicken recipe, you should take a look at this recipe. The chicken breast is cooked on a wood fire and served with sauteed mushrooms, prosciutto thinly cut, and soft fontina cheese. The dish is topped with an herb-infused citrus butter sauce. It’s a perfect match with white wine.

Shrimp & Scallop Linguine Alla Vodka

There’s nothing quite like the soft, creamy flavor of a perfectly-made tomato vodka sauce. This one, with succulent sauteed shrimp and scallops, is sure to please. It’s among the pasta dishes that are lighter for those who want to make room for dessert.

Prosciutto Arugula Wood Fired Pizza

If you’re going to Carrabba’s in the very first place, you might like to try one of their wood-fired pizzas. You can design your own pizza using the various toppings available, but the pizza they offer is perfect in taste.

Carrabba’s History

Johnny Charles Carrabba, III, and his uncle Damian Mandola opened what would eventually be one of the original Carrabba’s eatery at the end of 1986, located in Houston, Texas. Another restaurant was inaugurated in Houston that same year.

From the beginning, the food served at the restaurant was influenced by recipes handed down from the family, notably through Grace and Rose Damian’s mother and sister.

The restaurant was transformed into a regional chain, with the majority of its locations in Florida until 1993 when Bloomin Brands (at the time referred to as Outback Steakhouse, Inc.) invested in the expansion of the company.

In 2011, there was 232 Carrabba’s Italian Grill across the nation however, the majority of them were in the Southeast.

The recipes of the family that began Carrabba’s legacy have remained a major part of the menu of the restaurant. Some of them were presented on the PBS program known as Cucina Sicilia which is hosted by Johnny and Damian.
